In honor of me wearing an actual lip color today, here’s a post about every single glam color Dakota Johnson wore in Fifty Shades Darker as Anastasia Steele. Despite being about a touchy (hehehe the puns) movie for some, I loved their similarities to the books. While I won’t make this the post to break down the movies versus the books, I will say if you enjoyed the books please watch the movies….at least the last one.

Anyways, onto the lip products!! For Ana’s everyday berry lip, the makeup artists used a tinted lip conditioner by Ilia in Arabian Nights. Besides the fact that I need it because she wore it, this lip conditioner looks so smooth and comfortable. Also the color is very buildable as they used this product for a few lip moments.

For Ana’s proposal night she wore MAC’s Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Feels So Grand. After just three weeks of posting this, I went out and used a left over MAC Store Credit card to get my very own tube. Feels so Grand is literally so amazing. It’s creamy formula, matte drying and setting ability AND a little goes a long way. This is a lippie you can probably go through very fast, if you’re not careful just based on how big the wand is.

When the clock strikes midnight at the Masquerade Ball Ana wore MAC lip pencil in Burgundy and Glossier’s Generation G in Jam. For almost every kiss scene Ana could be caught wearing Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lip in Heathers, the ultimate kiss proof lippie. And finally although Ana didn’t wear this shade and theres no name that we know of, the lipstick Ana used to draw Christian’s boundaries is Yves Saint Laurent.
