Sport Horse Essentials Coat Spray Review || A 2018 Dislike ❌

Despite adoring the Waterless Shampoo & Stain Remover, I’ve come to the conclusion the coat spray may not be for Capone and I. 😢 Normally priced at $25 without shipping (currently on sale), you get the same bottle set up as the Waterless Shampoo. One nozzle, one bottle with a cap for shipping, and a thank you note (which is hanging in my tack room). The thing that’s VERY off putting for me is the vinegar smell that completely overpowers the amazing essential oils paired with it. I felt like Capone smelled mildew-y after using it and I really thought the western pad I borrowed from work was molding from the recent rain. 😬 If there was a way to remove the vinegar I think it would be an amazing product!! So unless you like your pony to smell like your last bag of salt n vinegar chips with perfume I’d recommend you spend your money elsewhere for a superior product.A fellow blogger recommended the Coat Spray by Purvida 🌿 so I’ll be trying that one out next. In the meantime, I make my own Coat Spray. I’m thinking about selling it, but I also don’t know if I can because I add an established product into it so if I figure that out you’ll be able to buy some of my Svecsheen.

  1. […] I’ve had my eye on the Purvida Conditioning Spray since I started following Eyes Up, Darling.  She uses this product religiously on Lex, and he always looks amazing. The website says the spray will leave your pony/horse feeling soft, shiny and smelling great. My reason for grabbing this coat spray as opposed to the Sport Horse Essentials one is because they put vinegar in their formula and it (in my very honest opinion) ruins the amazing fragrance of the natural oils they use to make their spray. For as much as I spent on it, I don’t find it worth it. You can read my full review on that one HERE. […]
