A year ago today I decided to TLC Caz. He’s an old 24 year old Black Tobiano gelding at Webb. He’s a former 3* Dressage mount and the sweetest goober when he lets you in. He has been through a lot in life, he was kicked in the eye before I started working at Webb; and his eye has a resulting pocket from fracturing the orbital. (Pictured Below) I got him that Lavender Mint plaid flymask to help with eye build up.

Unfortunately for CazCaz I can’t make it out to see him, but I still love him from afar. I left him behind when I left Webb and I hope he’s happy all the time.
Happy 1 year bud, a quote once said “Every horse deserves at some point in its life to be loved by a little girl.” I may not be little anymore, and I might be that girl for another handsome gelding; BUT Caz is super special to me for teaching me the full cleaning responsibility of owning a paint horse, teaching me to take my time knowing a horse, teaching me that oldies can still move fast, and for trusting me to take care of his eye and it’s needs.
Good luck in the herd, lessons and life old man. You’ve been special to so many from all the stories I hear about you. XO
A cow in his new halter!!!
You’re such a silly boy!!
Post bath graze session in the polo field.
The morning after a nice bath, you found a nice poo pile to sleep on.
I took this the day I chose you as my TLC. 🥰
