Easy Garlic Bread || 2020

I was honestly just laying in bed when I thought about the most delicious snack ever, garlic bread. We had no store bought garlic bread in the freezer so I thought about piecing together my own. We had our go to Artesano bread, which is kind of thick cut and very nice and fluffy. It’s probably like $3 a loaf or so. We had our usual shredded cheese, a Colby Jack mix, the best cheese there is. And the ultimate addition was the garlic and herb cream cheese I spread out on each slice before the shredded cheese.

My mistake with the first round was I added too much cream cheese, the fluffy bread retained the moisture of the cream cheese and became floppy, and the hot cream cheese fished out from the melted cheese. Okay, maybe that part wasn’t so bad, but still the next time I reduced the cream cheese to a nice covering over the face of the bread.

While I prep the bread I preheated the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit so it was ready to go in right away. I use butter to coat the pan and just arrange them however I feel that day on the buttered pan. They’ll go for about 10 minutes and then I let them cool with the oven for 5 minutes and then they’ll rest on the plate after that.

It only takes about 25 minutes to make them and they’re so worth it!!
