Way back on October 2, 2018, I ordered my first bag of Horse Guard FLIX ever. I was super friendly with the social media manager for the Horse Guard team at the time and quickly became a fan through her. Unfortunately, some drama hit and she was let go for out of work messages that were unkind to another creator in the community. Following that I really focused in on my content and kicked off my blog more so than I had in the past. Their website is a bit user unfriendly in general, but you don’t pay for shipping with their $13, 9lbs bag of FLIX. 20 minutes after I placed my order, it shipped!!

I started FLIX on Caz and Wonka just here and there, because shipping only took two days. Caz was always a bit overweight and a lot of treats wouldn’t be great for him, but these were perfect for his neck stretches. Since they are just flaxseed, I could pretty much feed as much as I wanted so long as he had a balanced diet with it, haha. I started the FLIX journey on a Saturday I’m pretty sure and it continues to this day. Rey and I took the day to walk Caz around the trails and man was it fun. My other hope was Caz’s hooves would grow stronger and his mane and tail would get thicker with the FLIX too. His coat improved like crazy, he literally glittered in the sun.

I had a dream to bring Horse Guard Trifecta to Webb. Caz was on MSM, Buteless and Smartpak Digest/ Platinum Gastric Support which is essentially Trifecta in a handful of supplements. While I would love to try out their product to give Caz the best chance at a healthy inside, he’s not my horse to decide what supplements he goes on. One day I’d love to give my horse some of their supplements to see if they work as well as it seems.
