Welcome to the new year, it’s been a while since 2021 started, but I wanted to make a post about some new things this year. I got a few Amazon giftcards and decided to invest in a few things to make this year better, easier, and less clutter filled.

I got myself a new photo album and arranged my photos chronologically. It holds 1000 photos and it is half full already. I still have a few photos to look for, but I am quite proud of my new set up. I used to have 2 green albums (pictured above) from when I was living with my parents and they started to be bulky to move together so I wanted to condense them all into one. I grabbed this one from Amazon, and my other items shipped with it. It’s a patent snakeskin album in black, and looks fantastic on my bookshelf.
I also got a set of 4, 2 to 3 prong plug converters since my apartment only has 2 prong outlets around and I need more 3’s. They actually came in a second shipment technically, but arrived with the other one so I counted it as one. I fixed the nightstand area and man did it need help. Every time I would plug my phone in and slightly tug the extension cord my Kate Spade lamp would flicker or turn off completely. I rearranged the top of the fridge and put the microwave up there since we needed the adapter there and now I actually have counter space!! I will drop a before and after for you guys to enjoy with me.
I decided that with all my blogging, scrolling, and TV binging I needed something to help me with my headaches from lots of screen time. I looked into sets of blue light glasses to filter out the harmful blue light from my gross amount of screen time and to swap with outfits. (Screen time is usually around 7 hours a day, I know I know). I found the cutest set, and it comes with a soft case and a cleaning square. They were only $20 too. I told Kyla all about them and she got her own pair too, it’s like I started a trend.

For a total of ~$64 I got all of these helpful items to kick off my year. I’m excited for the new improvements and I hope you’ll stay tuned for when the next one hits.
