When I first got Turbo back on my birthday (technically the 2nd, but still) in 2018, I used a plastic placemat for his food area. It was cute and looked like everything else in the apartment, and it was even the same color as all of Turbo’s stuff too. The one thing I hated was the pattern would scrub off when you’d go to clean all the dried up chunks of food off, and it quickly became an eyesore.

I went to Dollar Tree at one point and discovered a square mat that was woven plastic of some sort. It was a darker grey with stripes and lasted a good 2 years before I needed a change. I recently went to Dollar Tree again, with all their COVID protocols of course. I picked up a few odds and ends, and saw this new mat and had to have it. Turbo was such a good boy and modeled both of them for us.
