I’ve learned in the last few months the horses we have will rotate a decent amount. Jack my main squish was taken out with Shanty to Milpitas and we got this handsome man pictured above. I was massively disappointed to see him go, but I get it and moved on. I hope he’s happy frolicking in the pasture we have out there.
Anyways, I got to Woodside early one day and my boss Shawn needed help loading a liver chestnut gelding, so I went up, grabbed him and loaded him on up and off they went. I didn’t realize he was meant for San Francisco, but man was I excited when I got to turn him out because shoot, we got another horse for our location!!
I was told he was 10-12 years old, a fancy registered money earning cutting horse, the sweetest boy ever, but he was a bit goofy gait wise from cutting breakdown. He’s a sturdy trail horse and honestly a reliable lesson horse he just can’t do much without breaking down. That being said, I brought him along to learn trails and figure out where he fits in the program and I fell in love with him.

With a face like that, it’s very hard to resist loving him. He’s become a client ride in the last couple weeks and I’m sad I don’t get to squish him myself, but I’ve been attempting to develop a relationship with Marshmallow since she’s a handful and not so trusting. If I can get my act together Billie tops my list for horses to buy, and I have so many goals with him in mind if I did that. We’ll see how our dynamic continues over time, until then enjoy his face here and on my other socials. He’s pictured in my Equestrian Stockholm halter as well.
