The rain is truly coming down as I sit back in bed to write this and my cat is perched on his cat tree kingdom watching each drop find its way to the ground through the window. I thought this would be the perfect time to go ahead and break down this seasons Cavali Club box. I hope you’re ready.
The Winter Cavali Club box arrived this week while I was on my out to Henry Cowell Redwoods. I pushed it inside as I had company and let Gram know I had something arrive and off I went. When I arrived back home that evening I tore it open as soon as I could. There are 7 items in this sweet monochrome box. It fits in perfectly with holiday decor, but is also minimal enough to fit in all year. Bettina Norton is the designer of the outside of this winters box, and she of course has an item in the mix as well. I have decided the neutral box will house all my Cricut items and it fits in my art drawer perfectly.
The brochure was the first thing I pulled out of the box. It outlines everything in the box, the creators of each item and has photos from the previous box. I usually stuff the coupon cards and company info sheets in there and continue into the box.
The first item right on top after the brochure was a sheet of paper clips in fun equine inspired shapes. They came in colors from rose gold, royal blue to purple. I found an old glass jar I’m a fan of and dropped each clip in for a fun time lapse. I also made sure to include the few from the riding journal a couple boxes ago. I can’t wait to have my own space where I can spread my jars of pins, clips and other office needs out on a desk of my choosing and use them freely as I go about life. These are so cute and I can’t wait to use them, Gable Home did a wonderful job with them. I can’t imagine they’d be very expensive, I’d say no more than $10 for the sheet, but they never released the money value of the clips if you were interested in a set for yourself.
The main item in this box that I have been waiting for is the Gable Home Equestrian Tea Kettle. It’s a stunning rose gold/copper plated kettle featuring a small horse as the lid hold. It comes with a tea infuser that fits perfectly in the mouth. The horse reminds me of an intricate chess piece, but is still stylish and fits in at home. Again I wish I had my own space to make tea freely given the weather, but I do share space with family for now so I just use their items readily available in the kitchen. This will be my absolute go to for tea, cocoa and hot water. This tea kettle is priced at $65 in the member shop instantly making the box worth its price point.
I have been very fortunate to not need soaking boots or ice for any of the horses I’ve been working with since I left Webb, but I’d imagine these would’ve saved me all the hassle back then dealing with high performance eventing horses. Cavali Club included Equifit HoofIce in this seasons box, and I’m so curious for summer to hit so I can maybe try them. Corro has them priced at $25 a pair as they are reusable for a few uses, but ultimately they are disposable. I think these and the Equifit Pack N Stick hoof tape for abscesses are must haves at the barn.
Last box we were given small note cards for a short note for friends and family with a beautiful print of Mare Goods “Foxy” pattern. I used one for my friend Alexa since she needed a pair of stirrup leathers and I can’t send something without a note. This was the first item I had ever received from the brand and was delighted with the quality of each card and envelope. The set is priced at $10, and is a sweet addition to your cart in the member shop.
I love reusable bags for shopping, especially when they fold up and fit in my bag. I have 2 maybe 3 of these bags already in various colors and brands, but the Envirosax Barn Tote by Elise Butera takes the cake as my favorite. It’s got the most lovely equine design on it and adds a bit of fun to shopping which can be otherwise annoying. These fun packable bags are $8 according to Amazon since the Cavali Club member shop doesn’t carry them. If they made other equine patterns I might grab them.
Many moons ago I tried this product on some of the eventers back at Webb and I couldn’t truly tell if it made a difference because I never used it enough to see a difference. It was usually a quick use paired with rest in pasture and the horse recovered per usual so my gauge was biased. I’m super excited to have my own bottle of Limber Up Liniment (Shampoo) by Back on Track. Again I know I have to wait for summer to use it, but Hula, Sunday and probably Gabby will all be benefiting from this. This is priced at $20 and hopefully a little goes a long way since it’s not the biggest bottle. I will keep you posted when summer hits!!
And last but not least, the designer of the box Bettina Norton included a beautiful catch all dish with her piece “Stand By Me” on it. My dish houses my keys, a pair of earrings I keep drifting to for the holidays and sometimes my bumble bee necklace. The dish is $55 on Corro’s website and is absolutely one of my favorite items from this box. I haven’t decided if it will stay out all year long, but it’s definitely here to stay for the time being on my nightstand.
I hope you enjoyed the break down of last seasons box. I hope you guys are catching on and see this subscription is absolutely worth it. Carly knocks it out of the park at the turn of every season. I’m so looking forward to the spring box for 2022, but you guys will have to see what I got in last years spring box since I never posted it for you. When the post goes live check back here for a link!! Until the next post, happy trails, calculated strides and great rides everyone!!
