Affectionately called “Gooby”, Warlock is one of our constants at work horse wise. He is a trail pro, although he’s what I call an “intentional stepper”, so he takes his sweet time up and down hills. He goes both western and English and holds the sweetest frame on the buckle. He is a little looky, and can spook and buck like no one’s business, but it’s very rare. He’s very point and shoot, he’s a simple go ride and he is a puppy dog on the ground.
As pictured above he lives outside in his Rambo jammies with Sunday, and they look like siblings who share a room. Our other perfect lesson pony Angel used to live with them but they unfortunately ran her out of the paddock quite literally so she has her own box now.

I had the time of my life taking him out for a spin the other day and had to share with you guys. His saddle leaves a lot to be desired, but the team and I are on trying to fix that. I hope you guys will see more of him, but only as long as he continues to behave. No more bad habits during lessons and no more snacking on trail buddy.
