Easter weekend my grandparents and I drove down from San Jose all the way to Los Angeles to celebrate Easter and my Dads birthday.
I made sure to plan my outfits in advance, I had everything organized for the trip, and somehow I forgot my eyeshadow brushes. It wasn’t much of an issue, but still what the heck.
I laid out my black belted dress from candle lighting back in high school. It’s a timeless dress and flatters me even after all this time. I paired my dress with a burgundy cardigan and my caramel/camel colored strappy wedges from graduation for a pop of color. The whole outfit looked great, and very SoCal.
To complete the look I brought way too many products and no eyeshadow or face brushes for application. It was back to finger painting for me!!
I started with my Colourpop Heavy Hitter palette. It’s got all the same colors of the red rocks of Arizona, and majorly complimented my outfit given the red sand hues of my sweater. My eyes were topped off with my Wander Beauty Unlashed mascara which is the best mascara in existence. I applied just a bit of my Wander Beauty Coral Rose blush and Nude Glow 2-1 On The Glo Stick. I topped my Nude Glow highlighter with Colourpop’s Flexitarian, and moved on to prepping the rest of my face. I used my Jeffree Star Lemon Sucker Lip Scrub, Spearmint Chapstick before topping it off with a Balmain Revlon collaborative lipstick in the shade Fever.
I straightened my hair to perfection, made sure my eyebrows were all in order and in their proper places and off we went!!
