I don’t know if it’s my beachy California girl, or my love of salt and vinegar chips, but I want another saddle pad. Someone please stop me, but know I will fight you so you can’t say you weren’t warned beforehand. My saddle pad addiction is strong, and this is just another great addition to my stash already.

Back when I initially bought my PS of Sweden Sea & Petrol sets from Smartpak, I didn’t realize they also released another version of the dressage pads with the same base colors. Today we’ll only cover Sea, but Petrol is next.

Above is Gabby an older KWPN we have in Wunderlich for lessons and camp. She is sporting my PS of Sweden James Bond browband, and my PS of Sweden Sea dressage saddle pad. I have always been a fan of blues on bays, so this was a must for her lovely dappled coat.

The Sea pad I have is part of the “monogram” collection, and I recently discovered they made a “ruffle” style in Sea blue as well. While the two collections share the same base color, the “monogram” style includes an ear bonnet and the “ruffle” does not.

Pictured above is the “ruffle” version of the stunning Sea pad I’m already obsessed with. My set also comes with polo wraps, and complimentary Petrol boots, but I have opted out so far since those sets are mostly jump based these days. The ruffle set however, is all dressage based so they made the most adorable polo wraps to match.

The polos are priced at their normal $49 retail price and the pad is its regular $85, but given how much time has passed they are no longer available in store or online unless you’re lucky. I’ll be digging in all of my PS of Sweden groups to find a set of my own one day.
