Once I was done with puberty one of things I always saw myself having as an adult woman was a fine collection of lace and satin. Ever since I started earning my own money I have slowly acquired pieces. I have robes, bras, matching panty sets, garters & stockings, I have babydolls and I used to have a wonderful slip, but it’s since been tossed with age.
Given I’m headed up to a trip to Spokane at the end of the month, and B and I get time alone, I decided why not grab something special. I had a selection of a few small items and my main grab this trip, and man do I feel like I hit the jackpot.

While I had given up on the 3/$39 panty party, I was able to snag the Dream Angels V String in Capri Sea for free. That’s right, you read that right. It was completely by accident, but that’s one error I will never correct. The cashier didn’t realize my slip and the panty weren’t a set and didn’t charge me the ~$15 for the V String. While I should’ve said something, I believe just like when giving back too much change it’s on you at cash wrap to double check your work before closing the sale.
That being said, I now have a set of panties to match the $70 Plunge Open-back Slip. It’s also in that summer Capri Sea color, and it looks beautiful on me in my opinion.

To pair with that, I grabbed two new body mists. One of which I was fond of in store, but has actually not mixed with my body in the first attempt at using it. It has wonderful citrus notes to compliment the florals, but my body chemistry makes it stink. The second one was a great addition even though I have a similar one already. I love Coconut Passion especially given my current coconut kick, but Surf On The Waves is more beachy. Both are about $20 each and usually last a lifetime. I’ll keep y’all posted on how the Mandarin & Honeysuckle one works out.
