Sexy Little Things Firework || 2022

As I have mentioned time and time again, I am a major Victoria’s Secret fan. From their beauty, swim, lingerie, models, to the old fashion shows and beyond, I am a lover of all things VS.

If you’ve seen my previous posts with Victoria’s Secret, you all know I used to work for them when they were still part of L Brands. It was a great time to be a seasonal employee for them, and I helped launch the first collaboration collection with Balmain during my time there. While that was back in 2017, we’re taking a time machine even farther, back to 2011.

Soon I’ll go ahead and break down the fashion show of ‘11 for you guys, but until then enjoy this collection I have been obsessing over.

Candice Swanepoel 2011

Pictured above is one of many promo shots leading up the 2011 fashion show. In it Candice Swanepoel is sporting the most beautiful pastel pink bra embellished with rhinestone fireworks.

I came across this bra after I searched for my actual favorite bra from the 2014 fashion show on Poshmark. It was completely by accident, but now I can’t go on living without acquiring this new bra.

It’s part of Victoria’s Secrets old “Sexy Little Things” collection, it seems like a cross over between the current Very Sexy and Dream Angels collections. I have yet to figure out if they discontinued Sexy Little Things for a specific reason or if it became another collection we know and adore today.

The push up isn’t Bombshell (+2 cups), or So Obsessed (+1.5 cups) so I’m thinking it’s the same push level as Dream Angels and Very Sexy. The lining in the cup seems to be the soft cotton like material the Very Sexy collection tends to sport so I’m leaning that way.

That being said this bra is usually priced at $125 in store, meaning this was a bra I was never going to own at the time of its release in 2011. However, with time passing like it is, it’s value has depleted enough that I can now afford it. It’s matching panties were also an unbelievable amount at retail then, bot they’re even more now that enough time has passed and people who want the set drive the price of the individual panties up.

This set is absolutely magical and it gives me so much pleasure to imagine myself strutting around in a matching pastel pink crystal lingerie set. I have accumulated all these photos across various platforms since the Victoria’s Secret catalog days are long over, and any chance of seeing this bra in its promotional photos is a long shot given that was 12 years ago now.

To match the designers also made a babydoll to go with the firework collection and I need it just as much as I need the rest of the set. I have found both the bra and the babydoll for $100 together which seems like a steal since the bra alone was $125 in store.

I hope to have these pieces by the time Christmas hits and my true Victoria’s Secret series starts for you guys in the new year, but until then dream with me about some “Sexy Little Things”. G
