If you’re reading this you know by now that Turbo, B and I have temporarily relocated out of state to try something new with life. Being that we moved to the hottest and usually driest climate in Arizona much of our home decor will be warm toned and southwest inspired.

I have an array of things that will be perfect in our new environment, though I am still in the planning phase of some items.

We are lucky enough to have a Murphy bed in the new apartment, and it’s a queen which is a perfect size for B and I to start with. While looking through bedding options that would fit the new mattress, I found this on Urban Outfitters.

I loved it, sent it over to B and got his feelings on it and wham bam thank you ma’am I think it’ll be our bedspread. I was able to find it for $35 less than what Urban had it listed for.

As soon as we’re all settled down south, I will be taking photos of the living arrangements so no worries on that just yet. By the time you read this of course we’ll be happily settled, but at the time this was written, things were still in the works.

I want cozy jersey sheets, but I haven’t decided on a color yet. I did come across these warm heather grey sheets, and I think they’re a front runner, but we’ll see.

I have a throw pillow to match the set, but I’m still on the look for shams and pillow cases. I love rust accents, but I’m not sure how they would look in the space once there’s a lot of warm tones everywhere.

If I am lucky this rug, this pillow, and a future couch will replicate this homey vibe. I love the shapes, they compliment my vibe and plants, and I’m hoping they tie in with the warm tones being so neutral.

I will keep you guys posted on how the home decor goes, but I wanted to share an update at least!!
