In 2021 I had already started my saddle pad collection. I had, had all my saddle pads stolen at the barn Capone was boarded at and I went on a mission to have only luxury pads. It was fueled by having all my sentimental pads ripped from me, so investing in good pads was my way of honoring them. That being said, I still follow all the riders on Instagram that I posted with when I was actively leasing, and one posted a new tack set. It took me .0001 seconds for me to instantly fixate on this pad and for me to start curating outfit ideas.

The FW 2021 PS of Sweden collection concluded with corduroy colors. My favorite of the bunch was Corduroy Latte. The quote on the pads spine reads, “Trust the timing of your life”, which is a greatly needed reminder for me. I tend to want an outcome before it’s due or I am focused so much of the long term stuff the little things slip away.

The set includes a set of polo wraps, and your choice of dressage or jump cup saddle pad. That was it. While that was very simple, it just about meets the requirements I have for a set. I would love to own both cuts of saddle pad, and a set of wraps for sure. My dream would be to include the PS of Sweden White Delight browband to complete the set for me.

After all pieces are secured, 2 pads, 4 wraps, 1 browband, I would assume it would cost me $300. This pad wasn’t all that sought after, probably because they skipped a bonnet with this collection. However, it made waves with the dressage crowd, but I fell in love with it and my jump saddle.
