If you guys have kept up on my life updates you know I was lucky enough to go to Hawaii in October of 2022. On October 12th we took off in first class with Hawaiian Airlines, and made our way to the islands. I packed and arranged everything in typical Virgo fashion, even planning my outfits some time before the trip itself.

In early September I went into Forever21 hoping to find something on sale to take with me to Oahu & Kauai, and I ended up coming home with the most ‘basic’ Hawaiian dress. However, it is so cute, perfect for the islands, and fulfills all my tropical dress dreams. It was about $10 on the sale rack, final sale, and she fits like a glove.

I paired it with my Toms, my horseshoe necklace from B’s Mom, and at times my travel plushie, Stitch. We lived out my ultimate Lilo & Stitch life. It is a stiffer polyester, and it definitely showed my sweat, however I was excessively sweating at the time. The waist is elastic for shaping, and it has a cute cutout and flared skirt.

I mainly saved the dress for the helicopter tour, which is a whole other blog, but I wore it out to dinner, and around the beach in Poipu. The whole thing felt like the stars aligned when I found this dress on the sale rack, it was the perfect addition to my Hawaii luggage.

I was able to pair the dress perfectly to my nails in the imPress color Baby Why So Blue. I found they were the best press-on nails for this trip, and they lasted the week and only came off before my flight home.
