Cavali Club Fall Box || 2019

It could be my inner Virgo coming out or it could be because I just turned 21 in early September, but I finally bit the bullet and joined the Cavali Club.

Cavali Club is a quarterly subscription box for all your horse and rider needs all in one perfectly curated box. This seasons box if full of goodies for Capone and I as we come into Fall. The outside of the box is almost as good as the contents!! This beautiful Manhattan Saddlery x Cavali Club boxes print was painted by the very talented Silver Oaks Farms and pays homage to the classy equine prints in history in a beautiful neutral toned watercolor. I just found out you can buy the watercolor prints in Silver Oaks Farms Etsy, which I’ve linked for you. The contents of these precious boxes can be customized if you added extra items from the members only shop, which is comprised of items from previous boxes.

Unfortunately, Manhattan Saddlery had a delay in a shipment for a specific item for the Fall box and it delayed my boxes arrival. To compensate for the delay, Cavali Club included an Equestrian Stockholm ear muff/ knit headband from an old Winter box I presume. The Fall box came with a Kerrit’s Ice Fill Headband as well, and I was pleasantly surprised by two options for head wear.

My absolute favorite item in the box is the black Manhattan Saddlery pullover, I’m actually wearing it as I type because I literally take it everywhere I go. I have a huge post planned on it, but I have a major love for anything New York related so this pull is super special to me. The pull is normally about $70, so getting it and a whole bunch of other products for $52 is a steal!! Looking on the members only shop its on sale for $49.99 currently!!

I’m also super stoked to say that a new saddle pad/ blanket detergent was included so I can properly wash all my saddle pads and maybe Capone’s old teal/black Mio sheet. I would’ve preferred the ‘fresh linen’ scent, but to try the product out I’ll happily take the ‘Cherry’ scent I got. Cavali Club included the full size bottle which normally would be like half (or a little less) the box’ price making the box another financially smart investment. This bottle should last me a while, I hope.

Since leaving my barn manager job my muck boots have seriously dried up and started cracking. I’m not sure if the Sterling Leather Starter kit will save them, but I’m certainly going to try to revive them. The starter kit is compromised of a smaller sized travel bottle of both the leather cleaner and conditioner. I was so lucky to get the Lavender scent, to match my current favorite cleaner/conditioner by Tender Leather Care.

Another small reason I got the box was because Horse Guard included a small trial pack of Flix, which is a perfect baggie for traveling with Capone. I can easily refill the bag and keep it in a saddle sack, fanny pack or pocket. We currently keep Capone’s Flix in a tin can from a Christmas cookie pack to prevent mice or rats from getting to it. In a perfect world I’d get a cute silver can and keep Flix in huge quantities, but alas I don’t have enough money for that. Horse Guard also included a small brochure for their products which I get with my normal Flix deliveries.

Another product I got in my box is a beautiful hand towel from Horse & Kettle, featuring a grey horse and a copper kettle!! It’s a super absorbent fabric, but mine will probably just be for show because I love it so much. I also got a Hart Outfitters sticker, and Silver Oaks Farms postcard with a loose ring bit watercolor. Another item that I have laying out is the EQ Luxe magazine that was included in my box.

When I first started taking riding lessons in LA, I was taught to soak my bits after each ride to prevent buildup, stuck hay etc. Thankfully, I can continue that great lesson with the Infused Equestrian bit wipes!! They are peppermint flavored, portable, and honestly one of the greatest inventions I’ve seen. They will definitely be a staple in my grooming tote if Capone likes their taste.

Overall I’m thrilled with my decision to join the club!! I can’t wait for November for the Winter box to come out. There are some familiar brands from this box and two new brands I’m excited to get in a box. The rumors say, Botori Life, EQ Luxe, and The Fit Equestrian will be in the box, but you didn’t hear that from me. 💋
