Once upon a time I walked you guys through my family’s old breeding farm, what it was built on, how it came to be, and who the mastermind was. Well, today I wanted to start breaking down pieces of each bloodline starting with one of our foundation horses. I say foundation, as I have little information to go off of when it comes to the start of Hy-View Horse Farm.
Queens Bee is one of the first names I have found across all our pedigrees. While there is contesting information on her I thought I would give you what I have.
Queens Bee is a registered saddlebred (#913737M) and is otherwise found under (#989334M) possibly. She’s been noted as a bay and as a pinto in color leaving me to believe she was a dark bay paint tobiano mare born in 1938 based on my findings. She has no known sires or dams, so we’re left to guess where she came from. However, I can track her through every grandchild and great grandchild she’s had over the last 30+ years.
If you guys wish to track her through each evolution of our spotted saddlebreds, follow her tag. As always look out for the next installment of “meet the Sultzer’s Pintos”.
