On February 9th, 2022, Matt Harnacke x Equestrian Stockholm launched. This 5 piece collection is worth way more than its retail value as everyone and their mother found out by the end of the day that day. I have previously broken down how Matt played a part in the growth of Grey2Bay, but buying this pad I think would cement it.

It was 110% sold out by the time I made the decision to buy it, leaving only pony sizes in every shoppers wake. The remaining items I see that keep popping up are the clothing items for the rider.

The hat is a basic grey like the trim of the pad, and sports a small ES x MH logo on the bill. It’s priced at €29, or about $30 without shipping. The hoodie has the beautiful blue from the pad alongside the arms and across the chest of the sweatshirt where the logo is. The sweatshirt is priced at €99 or about $100 without shipping. If I fry obligated to be Matt’s number one fan I would buy them both, but I don’t see a need. I have my eyes on other hoodies and caps.

That being said there are other items in this collection I will have a hell of time collecting.

Above are the basic needs I have for this set. I need a full size ear bonnet and a full size jump pad to start. Eventually I will be adding the dressage cut to my stash as well, but I NEED the basic jump pad to survive. When the time comes to grab the dressage set, I will be adding the polos to the tack box as well. While it’s been found that polos and boots have no influence on a horses leg action, they are cute and part of the outfit so they get added to my cart.

I have found one jump pad for less that $150 shipped, but there is no matching bonnet so I am still looking. I hope to have that pad secured and sent to me by the end of the month. Until then look at this comparison below.

Equestrian Stockholm was kind enough to put the Matt Harnacke blue collab next to Monaco Blue and Moroccan Blue. It is unlike any other pad I have ever seen and it makes my soul so happy to see it shift in the light.

I consider this set a true genuine unicorn, and I won’t be selling it ever should I buy it.
