Since moving down to Arizona, B and I spend a lot of time combing through various Goodwills and other thrift stores looking for treasures and trinkets. Day to day it’s usually uranium glass or fun horse stuff, but sometimes it’s bags, kettles or a pair of shorts I kept my eye on for three store visits before just coming home with them.

These shorts were everything I ever wanted in a pj set as an equestrian and western rider. They were under $5, and just a steal in my mind. They are a large so they sit low on my hips and luckily tie shut to accommodate my real size. They are a soft cotton, the pattern is printed on there with like super glue, so no amount of washing or drying has damaged the images.
The horses on one side match the cows and seem to be pretty buckskin, but I like to imagine it’s Cayenne on that side. The other leg sports an athletic horse that looks like Playboy, and of course they are both paired with strong equestrians getting their stuff done, period.
If at some point they don’t fit or something happens I will repurpose the heck out of the usable prints. What a great Horse Girl Thrift Find!! What have you found at Goodwill or your local thrift store? Leave it in the comments below.
